About Cristina

From Canton, Ohio, Cristina Sicard has loved writing picture books since she was little. She hasn’t gotten much bigger, but her love for storytelling has. Everything to her is a story! Cristina especially loves hearing stories from her family in the Dominican Republic.

In May 2018, she graduated from Ohio University’s E.W. Scripps School of Journalism with a minor in Spanish and Global Leadership Certificate. In December 2019, she graduated from her Masters in Teaching PreK-5 from the University of Georgia. She wants to teach, use her Spanish, travel, and eventually work in children’s television. Now, Cristina will continue writing children’s books, smiling, and meeting wonderful readers like you!

Harmony is THE fluffiest, cutest llama you will ever meet. He lives with his llama friends in Ohio at Timberlane Llamas. Harmony loves rolling in the mud, spending time with his loving owner Donna, posing for the camera, and taking trips in his llamazine. Although he really misses his fluffy family in Peru, Harmony wants to remind us all to take a look around and notice and appreciate the good we have. He highly recommends reading Cristina Sicard’s children’s llamazing book, Harmony.
